OUR GOD IS HOLY!
Psalm 99:9 Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at His Holy Hill: for the Lord our God is holy.
Exodus15:11 Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
Isaiah 6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
GOD COMMANDS US TO BE HOLY
Leviticus 11:45 For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
Leviticus 19:2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.
Luke 1:74-75 That He would grant unto us, that we, being delivered out of the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before Him, all the days of our life.
2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Ephesians 4:21-24 If so be that ye heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
2 Peter 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, vs. 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? vs.14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
WE ARE TO BE UNBLAMEABLE!!
1 Thessalonians 3:11-13 Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you. And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
1 Peter 2:9-11 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
We are not called to get "counseling" to excuse sin and abnormal behaviors. God did not create you a homosexual! Our Almighty God, who is Holy, commands you to abstain from fleshly lusts. If you don't, your evil passions will send your soul into hell!
1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolators, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (having or showing qualities generally attributed to women, as weakness, delicacy; unmanely.), nor abusers of themselves with mankind, vs.10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the Kingdom of God.
In closing I call upon all who are walking according to their evil passions and desires to REPENT this day in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Repent, be saved, and give God all the Praise and Glory. For He is Holy and we are to be Holy. Amen.
Isaiah 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. vs. 9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
