AWAITING!! Watching & Praying

The Just Shall Live By Faith

THE CROSS BECAME OUR VICTORY!

1 Co. 1:17  For Christ sent me not to baptize,  but to Preach the Gospel:  not with wisdom of words,  lest the Cross of Christ should be made of none effect.  vs. 18 For the Preaching of the Cross is to them who perish foolishness;  but unto us which are saved it is the Power of God.

Wow!!  At the Cross the sin debt was totally paid and you and I are absolutely free from the bondage of sin, to live a Holy and clean life.  Thank You King Jesus,  for Your Mercy endures from generation to generation!  1 Peter 1:18 declares,  For as much as you know that you were not Redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold,  but with the Precious Blood of Christ,  as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot.

Knowing what our Lord accomplished on our behalf,  it grieves me to see my brothers and sisters walking about miserably.  It seems many have lost the joy of their Salvation and I sense a loss of inner peace in the lives of my fellow Christians.  Today's world is so full of doubt and confusion,  and satan continues to walk about seeking whom he may devour.  My friend let me tell you something,  satan was defeated at the Cross!!  Colossians 2:13-16 says,  And you,  being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh,  has He quickened together with Him,  having forgiven you all trespasses;  blotting out the handwriting of Ordinances that was against us,  which was contrary to us,  and took it out of the way,  nailing it to His Cross;  and having spoiled principalities and powers,  He made a show of them openly,  triumphing over them in it. -  This simply means that satan and all his angels were defeated when Christ gave up the ghost.  At that moment,  the veil was broken and the way was made so that you could come boldly to the Throne of Grace.  With your sins forgiven,  satan can no longer hold you in bondage.  You have the power to make him run from you!  James 4:7 tells us,  Submit yourselves therefore to God.  Resist the devil,  and he will flee from you.  And everybody said,  Hallelujah!

As a Disciple of The Lord Jesus Christ,  always keep your Faith firmly anchored in the Finished Work at The Cross.  I can testify the Holy Spirit will enable you to live a life according to the Father's Will.  He will lead and guide and strengthen you daily.  Praise the Lord.

Remember He made peace for you through the Blood of His Cross.  He through the Cross,  reconciled you unto Himself to present you Holy and unblameable and unreprovable in His sight.  That is something to shout about.  That is something to sing Praises about.  That is something to wake up to every morning and boldly declare that this is The Day The Lord Hath Made,  We Will Rejoice And Be Glad In It!

May I remind you again of this great Truth of the Gospel.  Phi. 2:8-11  And being found in fashion as a man,  He humbled Himself,  and became obedient unto death,  even the death of the Cross.  Wherefore God has highly exalted Him,  and given Him a Name which is above every name:  that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven,  and things in earth,  and things under the earth;  and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,  to the Glory of God the Father.

Even right now in my life I can honestly and boldly declare Galatians 6:14  But God forbid that I should glory save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,  by whom the world is Crucified unto me,  and I unto the world.  vs. 15  For in Christ Jesus neither Circumcision availeth any thing,  nor uncircumcision,  but a new creature.  vs. 16  And as many as walk according to this rule,  peace be on them,  and mercy,  and upon the Israel of God. (this refers to all who look to the Cross for Redemption)

When your life is truly hid with Christ in God,  you will walk in the peaceful valley.  You will walk in victory to overcome the world because of your Faith in the One who overcame the shame of the Cross,  that we may have life and live it more abundantly.  Amen.
